2011-12 PBA AFC Finals TNT vs POW

Gary David is the best scorer in the league, but TNT has a lot of defensive guards who can limit his scoring in this series. I just can't see the Powerade beating the Texters here. They might get a one game upset or two at the most, it's just very hard for me not to bet on TNT.

David is a shooting guard, so he will shoot. It's just a matter of whether his shots are gonna fall or not. The other key players for Powerade are rookies Lassiter and Casio. We know that TNT will try to stop David so a descent game from the former Smart Gilas duo will give their team a great chance in upsetting Powerhouse TNT.

My heart say's Powerade, but my mind say's it will be TNT in 6.

2011-12 PBA All Filipino Cup BPC

Powerade advancing to the Finals will help Gary David's chances in winning the BPC. Although Arwind is the leader in statistical points with his all around performance, not making the Finals definitely hurt his chances.

I'm pretty sure this award is for El Granada's taking. His closest rival would be teammate Marcio Lassiter and maybe Jason Castro if he is in the Top 5.

2011-12 PBA best of seven semi-finals series

I haven't seen a single PBA game in almost 2 years now. But i'm still pretty much in the loop of what's going on with my beloved basketball league. Thank's to the PBA website, pinoyexchange and a few bloggers i follow, i still get some new info's about the league.

The two semi-finals series feauturing RoS vs Powerade and TNT vs Petron reached the deciding 7 game.
This is my prediction.

TNT vs Petron

Some people say that this series is really the Finals and not the semis. They might be right cause who ever wins this will face who ever prevail between RoS or Powerade. Two underdog teams since the start of the conference. And honestly, i think POW and RoS are still not a championship material team.

Going back to this series. Both teams suffered all types of injuries. It's a good thing that both are star studded team. Who ever the coach pull out from the bench can certainly deliver.

I like TNT's chances in game 7, coming out of two straight victory. That is a big confidence booster for the team.

TNT for the win by 5 points!

RoS vs Powerade

This is really easy for Rain or Shine. Stop Gary David from scoring big! That's all they need to do and they should'nt have a problem advancing. As for Powerade, i think they need to focus in defending the outside shots from Chan, Araña and even Buenafe. It's also interesting to watch the two priced rookie point guards in Paul Lee and JV Casio.

My fucking 1TB hard drive crashed last night. All my movies and some tv shows are in that hard drive. Damn i should've bought another one and backed it up. But i didn't. There is no one to blame here but myself. Screw me!

Heat vs Clippers 01/11/12

I stayed up untill 2am to watch these two slug it out and it was worth it. The game was great, although i didn't like the way it turned out at the end of regulation. Both team struggled and it could have been or it should have been a Heat win if only they made their free throws. You got to make the freethrows guys, that's why it's free.

I think the Heat should have went with Bosh at the post instead of Lebron. He is a much steadier freethrow shooter that James.

Here is my vote for the NBA All Star Starters.

I really, really think that these are gonna be the starters. The only players i think that might get booted out as a starter are Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony.

I watched Ricky Rubio play against Washington and damn that kid has potential. So, it's Paul or Rubio.

Carmelo might be replaced by team mate Amar'e.

Katy Perry Divorce

Katy Perry wanted Russell Brand to file the court papers in their divorce ... because she didn't want to upset her religious parents ... sources connected to the former couple tell TMZ.

We're told ... Katy and Russell knew the relationship was on the rocks a couple of months ago -- but didn't want to give up on the marriage without making a concerted effort to work things out.

But the effort fell flat ... with both sides feeling "it just wasn't there."

We're told both Katy and Russell were on board with the divorce a few weeks ago -- but they didn't want to be in town when the papers were filed ... so he went back to England and she booked it to Hawaii.

Since Katy's parents are evangelical Christians, we're told she didn't want to be the one to "officially" end the marriage by filing the docs ... since she was raised to believe divorce is wrong.

After he filed the docs, Russell released a statement Friday insisting the two will "remain friends."



Good for Katy. I think she deserves better than Russell. He's just so fucking nasty!
