2011-12 PBA AFC Finals TNT vs POW

Gary David is the best scorer in the league, but TNT has a lot of defensive guards who can limit his scoring in this series. I just can't see the Powerade beating the Texters here. They might get a one game upset or two at the most, it's just very hard for me not to bet on TNT.

David is a shooting guard, so he will shoot. It's just a matter of whether his shots are gonna fall or not. The other key players for Powerade are rookies Lassiter and Casio. We know that TNT will try to stop David so a descent game from the former Smart Gilas duo will give their team a great chance in upsetting Powerhouse TNT.

My heart say's Powerade, but my mind say's it will be TNT in 6.

2011-12 PBA All Filipino Cup BPC

Powerade advancing to the Finals will help Gary David's chances in winning the BPC. Although Arwind is the leader in statistical points with his all around performance, not making the Finals definitely hurt his chances.

I'm pretty sure this award is for El Granada's taking. His closest rival would be teammate Marcio Lassiter and maybe Jason Castro if he is in the Top 5.

2011-12 PBA best of seven semi-finals series

I haven't seen a single PBA game in almost 2 years now. But i'm still pretty much in the loop of what's going on with my beloved basketball league. Thank's to the PBA website, pinoyexchange and a few bloggers i follow, i still get some new info's about the league.

The two semi-finals series feauturing RoS vs Powerade and TNT vs Petron reached the deciding 7 game.
This is my prediction.

TNT vs Petron

Some people say that this series is really the Finals and not the semis. They might be right cause who ever wins this will face who ever prevail between RoS or Powerade. Two underdog teams since the start of the conference. And honestly, i think POW and RoS are still not a championship material team.

Going back to this series. Both teams suffered all types of injuries. It's a good thing that both are star studded team. Who ever the coach pull out from the bench can certainly deliver.

I like TNT's chances in game 7, coming out of two straight victory. That is a big confidence booster for the team.

TNT for the win by 5 points!

RoS vs Powerade

This is really easy for Rain or Shine. Stop Gary David from scoring big! That's all they need to do and they should'nt have a problem advancing. As for Powerade, i think they need to focus in defending the outside shots from Chan, Araña and even Buenafe. It's also interesting to watch the two priced rookie point guards in Paul Lee and JV Casio.
