STATUS SYMBOL

These are some of the things that Filipinos use as status symbol. Some on the list is courtesy of my fellow PEXERS. wohoooo! lolz!


Car - kahit na medyo bulok

Jewelry - especially yung mga OFW (i'm one of them and i understand why they have these. it turns out it's a good investment as the price of gold goes up every...month maybe?)

Celphones - kailangan bago ang unit lagi, although for me, i can't keep up with these companies, it's like every month they have the latest unit available

Branded Apparels - such as Clothes, Shoes, Bags, Sunglasses, heck even slippers (Havaianas, spell?)

Starbucks - Yes, you read it right

Gadgets - like I-Pod, Laptop, Tablets, Camera, DSLR etc...

School - sosyal pag  sa private


I cant' believe these people. Instead of saving for their future, they opted to buy stuffs that they hardly use. I'm not saying everyone does this, but most of us does. Admit it.
