PBA 37th Season

Let's talk about basketball.

It's been a while since i last watch a PBA game. The last game i've seen (on DVD) was the game 7 of the 2007-08 All Filipino Finals between my favorite Sta. Lucia Realtors against the James Yap led Purefoods. It was the best season my team had since they won the 2001 Governor's Cup with Damien Owens as their reinforcement before they sell the team in 2010. I never cheered for any team up to now.

Anyways, let's talk about this upcoming season. I know i have'nt been watching the games, but i'm pretty much updated on what's going on with the League. This season is going to be exciting with some rookies coming from the Smart Gilas.

I will rank the 10 teams for the upcoming 2011-2012 Philippine Cup based on their roster. Let's start from bottom to the Top teams. I'll divide the post to four parts so it won't be a long read.

I hope Renren Ritualo will show his old form again with his new team. He's one of the great shooters i've seen in the PBA. He seriously need to rejuvenate his game for this might be his last shot.

With this line up though, i don't think we can expect anything from them. Bottom line is, they won't achieve anything this Philippine Cup with the line up they have. But who knows, maybe they will be lucky in an import laden conference and might get some wins.

The new Barako si here. This is actually a good line up. With the addition of Miller and the awesome Seigle i think they might get some wins. My main concern with this line up though is the lack of team work. That is why i rank them this low. We'll see as the season progresses, as i said, my ranking is only based on the teams roster.
